Day 1 (Friday, September 19) Depart U.S.A. for Palermo (PMO), Italy.
Day 2 Arrival in Palermo, Italy (Saturday, September 20) Make your way by taxi from the airport to our hotel in the historic center of Palermo. Lodging: Palermo Hotel – After everyone has checked in, there will be a “meet and greet” .
Day 3 Palermo (Sunday, September 21) Lodging: Palermo Hotel. After enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a half day walking tour of Palermo including a “street food experience.” Free evening.
Day 4 Palermo (Monday, September 22) Lodging: Palermo Hotel. In the morning we will travel by bus to Monreale for a guided tour of this historical Sicilian town. The highlight will be the Duomo in Monreale and the stunning mosaic carved columns. Free evening.
Day 5 Palermo (Tuesday, September 23) Lodging: Palermo Hotel. Free day. Group dinner is scheduled for our last night in Palermo.
Day 6 Palermo - Siracusa (Wednesday, September 24) Lodging: Siracusa Hotel. After checking out, we will travel by bus to Agrigento to visit and tour the Valley of the Temples - an archaeological site that is one of the most outstanding examples of ancient Greek art and architecture of Magna Graecia and is one of the main attractions of Sicily. Group lunch. Free evening in Siracusa founded by Greek settlers in the 8th century BC, was a major power in the Mediterranean world and is distinguished by its rich Greek and Roman heritage, including ancient amphitheaters and architecture.
Day 7 Siracusa (Thursday, September 25) Lodging: Siracusa Hotel. Free day and evening.
Day 8 Siracusa -Taormina (Friday, September 26) Lodging: Taormina Hotel After checking out, we will travel by bus to Taormina with a stop at a winery for a tour, tasting and lunch. Free night in Taormina.
Day 9 Taormina (Saturday, September 27) Lodging: Taormina Hotel. After breakfast, we gather for a guided tour of Taormina including the Teatro Antico. Free afternoon and evening.
Day 10 Taormina (Sunday, September 28) Lodging: Taormina Hotel. Free Day. OPTIONAL TOURS – Godfather Tour and /or Italian Beach Day.
Day 11 Taormina (Monday, September 29) Lodging: Taormina Hotel. After a free morning of sightseeing and shopping, join the group for an “arrivederci” lunch at a favorite local restaurant. Free evening for a memorable final night in Taormina.
Day 12 Taormina (Tuesday, September 30) Transfer is included and arranged for you to Catania Airport (CTA) for your trip back to the U.S.A.

Fly in to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and fly home from Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP)
SAMPLE ITINERARY – schedule of events may change to maximize the experience
Day 1 (Tuesday, September 30) Depart U.S.A. for Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), Italy.
Day 2 Arrival in Rome, Italy (Wednesday, October 1) Lodging: Rome Hotel in the historic center of Rome. In the evening Vince will lead an informal walk of the area near our hotel. We will have our first group dinner enjoying local specialties of Rome.
Day 3 Rome (Thursday, October 2) Lodging: Rome Hotel. Free Day. Go shopping, get another great photo, explore the museums and monuments, or find your own romantic piazza and daydream, the Roman day is yours to enjoy. An optional tour of Vatican City will be organized for those interested.
Day 4 Rome (Friday, October 3) Lodging: Rome Hotel. The morning and early afternoon are free. In the evening we meet for a remarkable 3 - 4 hour guided tour of Ancient Rome.
Day 5 Rome (Saturday, October 4) Lodging: Rome Hotel. Free day. Consider a visit to the Borghese Museum or the Trastevere neighborhood for sightseeing and lunch. Group dinner planned in the evening
Day 6 Rome - Sorrento (Sunday, October 5) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. After breakfast, we depart Rome by luxury private coach for Sorrento. On the way, the group will stop for a winery tour and tasting. After settling into our hotel there will be an informal walk exploring this picturesque town.
Day 7 Sorrento (Monday, October 6) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. Free Day. After breakfast, consider a guided tour of the best preserved city from antiquity - Pompeii - which is just a short train or bus ride from Sorrento. Group dinner scheduled for the evening.
Day 8 Sorrento (Tuesday, October 7) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. After enjoying a breakfast overlooking the Bay of Naples, the group will meet for a Full Day Tour exploring the island of Capri. The group will travel by hydrofoil for the excursion to Capri. The group will then explore this romantic island in luxury with a private guide that will inform and entertain you during the journey. An afternoon meal (pranzo) is planned for the group in Anacapri.
Day 9 Sorrento (Wednesday, October 8) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. Half day Excursion to Positano and Amalfi Coast. There will be free time for lunch during this excursion.
Day 10 Sorrento (Thursday, October 9) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. A half day Farm Tour is scheduled with tasting and demonstrations of local food producers in the quaint town of Schiazzano near Sorrento.
Day 11 Sorrento (Friday, October 10) Lodging: Sorrento Hotel. After a free morning of sightseeing and shopping, join the group for an “arrivederci” lunch at a favorite local restaurant. Free evening for a romantic final night in Sorrento.
Day 12 Sorrento (Saturday, October 11) Transfer is included to the Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP) for your trip back to the U.S.A.
